From the MF standard single-phase motors derive the single-phase brake motors with high starting torque XF, equipped with a Csp starting capacitor connected in parallel to the C starting capacitor.

Dimensions are identical to the three-phase brake motors TF series, except for the dimensions of the terminal board, containing the capacitor, made of impact-resistant plastic.

The capacitor is assembled on to an appropriate support that enables to isolate it from the housing limiting the transmission of temperature and vibrations to the capacitor itself.

These motors are available with B3, B5 and B14 flange and have following characteristics:

• IEC sizes = 56 ÷ 100
  
• Nominal power Pn= 0.09 ÷ 2.2 kW
  
• Polarity = 2, 4, 6
  
• Brake type: D.C. current
  
• Energy efficiency= IE1
  
• Nominal torque Mn= 0.3 ÷ 15.9 Nm
  
• Rotation speed n = 870 ÷ 2830 rpm
